The Green Room Play

I co-wrote a comedy play, The Green Room with amazing writers Yvvette Edwards and Alex Wheatle about the obstacles Black British writers face in publishing. Alex’s life was recently documented in an episode of Steve McQueen’s Small Axe series on the BBC. Alex is a producer for The Green Room along with the excellent Words of Colour. Directed by Roy Alexander Weise (Nine Night), a reading of the play will be live streamed from Theatre Peckham in July.
