Costa Short Story Competition

So I missed the deadline for the Costa Short Story competition. Doh! I’m not sure what I was doing, probably aimlessly surfing the web or eating a muffin and some cheesecake while watching a movie. I actually did make a mental note a few months back but I kept saying to myself “There’s time!” in the way that you do when procrastinating. Then I remembered after the deadline passed. Typical. Anyway, I think it’s good a high profile award like Costa now has a short story section. I love short stories, love writing them and I don’t think they get enough recognition as a form.
