Bernardine Evaristo & Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi Southbank Centre

The tremendous Bernardine Evaristo has just won the Man Booker Prize for her novel Girl, Woman, Other. The fisrt black British woman to do so. It’s a seminal moment. Bernardine has made history and I could not be more thrilled for her. I’ll be in conversation with her and the superb Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi this Sunday 20th October 5pm at the Southbank Centre.
